For hire James composes
and performs on TV and Radio Commercials. Since 1999 James Clarkston
has licensed his Original song " La Placita" to the German Company ITO
(International Transportation Organization). ITO makes 400 videos per
year about El Paso/ Ft Bliss. These videos are
given to German families who will be stationed at Ft. Bliss.
In 2000 Lydia's Wallcovering's used James' version of "Joy To The World" for TV
spots during the Holiday Season..
In 2003
Northeast City Rep. John Cook hired James to perform on his radio
commercials which featured John Cook singing " El Paso's Your Land" a
take off of the Woody Guthrie song:
"This Land Is Your Land". The
commercial helped John get re-elected. Now John Cook is the major of El
Paso, Texas. The
above picture of James is from a 2003 TV commercial for The Pasta Cafe
Restaurant which aired in Ruidoso, Roswell, Carlsbad, and Albuquerque,
N.M.
