	As a guitar teacher I recommend that you avoid spending too much on a guitar for a beginner (Fender,Gibson,etc..). If you buy a guitar in the toy dept. of a national chain store, or you are buying a toy. Another common mistake is buying a "new" guitar at a pawnshop. I would avoid a cheap guitar from Juarez,Mexico; often these guitars are not even tuneable. All of our guitars carry a 90 day warranty against mfg. defects.
